Graduate program: Unlike other faculties, the School of Medicine has a departmental system, which means that most departments consist of teaching staff headed by one professor and each department is responsible for teaching certain subjects.  Refer to the list of departments for their major research areas. More details can be obtained by directly contacting the department of your interest. As a prospective supervisorfs approval letter is a mandatory document to sit for the entrance examinations as well as for a student visa application, contacting the supervisor in your field of interest as early as possible is always advised.

Masters Course: Admission to the 2-year Masters program is currently made once a year in April. The entrance examination is conducted in early September. Sixteen-year of schooling is one of the pre-requisites to be admitted to the course.

Ph.D. Program: If you wish to pursue a doctoral degree, after enrolling as research student, admission to the doctoral course is made twice a year: April and October. For April enrollment, examination is offered twice a year: in September and in March. For October admission, applicants must take an examination in September. Eighteen year of schooling is also one of the pre-requisites to be admitted to the course and it usually takes 4 years to complete the Ph.D. program.
